Autumn’s Approaching….

P1000620.JPGThe plants are starting to look weary and so am I!  My gorgeous white Hedychium (Ginger Lily) is just about to come into flower- always late in the season and a sign that it’s time to end the plant selling season.

There is ONE MORE WEEK of the nursery here being open- the last day will be Friday  Sept 30th. After that date, you are very welcome to come and have a browse, but you will need to email me on OR phone on 01202 695256 to arrange a date & time when it is convenient to both of us for you to visit. There are still plenty of perennials available but they are starting to look very tatty now!

Enjoy your Autumn planning and planting….it’s a great time to be planting bulbs, re-designing borders, splitting clumps of plants and moving stuff around. I intend to be doing all of these things  🙂

Here are some pics for you to enjoy!    The first is the gorgeous first, and very late, flower on my miniature climbing rose ”Love Knot” and the second an Elephant Hawkmoth caterpillar on Fuchsia.

The event will be open between 10am- 4pm and the entry fee is £3 for adults which gives admission to the gardens as well as the plant fair. There is a very good cafe for refreshments too.
