And into the Autumn we go….

The Nursery is now closed for the winter, although if anybody would like to visit and have a mooch through the rather tatty plants, they are very welcome to give me a ring or email to check I’m here. I always enjoy welcoming people in, so feel free to ask to come if you want to. There are still a lot of plants available and I will still be busy working here.

As for this growing year- we have had a very good season, particularly at all the events we’ve been to.We visited some new venues which was exciting, with the Solent show at Eastleigh and the open garden at Bindon Mill being especially good. The plant fair at Knoll Gardens was great too and the cake there was heavenly 🙂 We were thrilled to win *best stand* at the 25th Gilbert White’s Unusual Plant Fair at Selborne and will enjoy having a free stand next year!!   🙂

Next year we have a great selection of fab plants planned for the sale tables and we are hoping to do all the events we have attended this season plus a couple of new ones.

One change will be the opening times at the nursery itself. Due to poor footfall through that side gate, I have decided to reduce opening days to just Thursday and Friday- so note that from April I will be CLOSED ON WEDNESDAYS! I can offer appointments to visit at other times (evenings too)-please just contact me.

Our first event of 2018 will be the 2 day area show at Lytchett Minster School on 13th & 14th April 2018 run by the Dorset & Guernsey Floral Art club. This is followed closely by Mapperton House on the 15th April 2018! That’s going to be a busy weekend!  😀

Wishing you all a happy winter season and looking forward to the new season in the Spring. Thank you to everyone that has bought our plants over this season and I hope you’re pleased with them.
