Welcome to the 2019 season!
It’s the 1st of February today and it’s a snow day-must say we rarely get enough snow here to severely disrupt life and the snow today is wet and melting fast. Very pretty to see though and interesting to watch all the different birds visiting the feeders in the back garden.
Our new plant season will start on April 14th with the first charity plant fair of the season to be held at Mapperton House near Beaminster, Dorchester, 10-4pm.
The nursery will be open to visitors between 10-4pm on Thurs & Friday at the end of April, depending on the weather.Any queries before then are, ofcourse, most welcome. Either email me on firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 01202695256 and I will be pleased to help if I can!
We will again be selling a good variety of plants this season, starting at the earlier events with a choice of the popular 9cm perennials-mix & match 3 for £10 or £3.50 each, alongside all the other larger perennials ranging from Tradescantia to Digitalis to Echinacea. A large percentage of our plants are essential food for bees, butterflies and all other insects. A lot can be grown in sun/part shade, some love full sun and we do have some suitable just for shade.
We hope to see you again soon!
